Summer (Online) Islamic Courses 1431

Bismillaah, wal-hamdulilaah, was-salaatu was-salaamu 'alaa rasoolillaah,

It is with great pleasure that we announce the scheduled Summer Islaamic Courses (1431 / 2010). During the '07 and '08 summers, we conducted academic-based Islaamic courses with our brother and guest instructor, Abul-'Abbaas Moosaa Richardson. Abul-'Abbaas is currently a post-graduate student at Umm al-Qura University in Saudi Arabia. The courses were very beneficial, the teaching methods, easy participation and interaction made the experience pleasing for all students. The pace was easy going allowing beginner and intermediate student alike to feel satisfied. The course is academic including handouts, assignments, quizzes, exams and certificates. The course is interactive featuring local and online live attendance (added in '08) with interaction between instructor and student, an online forum for discussion and a dedicated email group. Course Topics and Themes:

Aqeedah: Exemplary Principles Concerning the Beautiful Names and Attributes of Allaah by Shaykh Muhammad Ibn Saalih al-'Uthaymeen

Fiqh/Tafseer: The Manners of Marriage, Divorce and Intimate Relations according to the Qur'aan and Sunnah [with tafseer of the Qur'aanic Ayah and Prophetic Texts)

Seerah: Biographies of Important Figures in Islamic History (Prophets, Companions and Scholars)

Course Dates: Monday-Thursday, July 12th to August 5th 2010 [4 weeks]

Timings: 7:00PM - 10:00PM EDT (4:00PM - 7:00PM PDT | 12:00AM - 3:00AM BST)

On-site Location: Masjid al-Furqaan & Islaamic Centre (TROID) 874-A Weston Rd. Toronto, Canada (Weston/Black Creek)
